Tax season means different things to different people. To our customers, it is when they cash in the loan they were forced to write to Uncle Sam, in the form of their refunds. To us tax professionals, it is a lot of early mornings, late nights, stress, and a lot of fun helping people get their money. Seeing someone’s eyes light up when I hand them probably the biggest check they receive all year is an absolute joy.
One of my favorite parts of tax season is listening to the wonderful musical selections while on hold with one of our software partners. It makes me think, do these companies hire someone specifically to select their smooth jazz for them, or is this the kind of music that the owners of software companies listen to?
